New Jersey’s MOJA is back with his new hit single “Aureliana”. The 26 year old got his start with music back in 2014 by using Audacity. In 2019, things began to get more serious as MOJA met his engineer, Astaxxthebeatlord. It was at this time he began releasing all his music under the name MOJA. As for some of MOJA’s biggest inspirations he cited artists such as Pharrell, Aaliyah, Timbaland, Kid Cudi, The – Dream, Drake, Missy Elliott, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Gorillaz, T-Pain, Tame Impala and Toro Y Moi. One of MOJA’s most notable releases includes his album “I Was Curious” which “Aureliana” was the lead single to.
MOJA officially released his stand out track “Aureliana” with his album “I Was Curious” onto SoundCloud in 2022. One of his collaborations on the track is producer Shrxkz, which is a producer MOJA have worked pretty extensively with. He loves the sound-scapes and bounce that he incorporates into his production. Specifically on this track, “Aureliana”, the synths in the beginning remind MOJA of the synths in “Sensual Seduction” by Snoop Dogg, a song which is timeless. MOJA’s overall goal as an artist is to show listeners his self-production, he’s been working on that side of his artistry since last year. His first self-produced track, “No Return”, will drop this month on Friday, the 23rd. He also has some amazing collaborations he would love to share with listeners and plans to in the near future.
