Rising artist YKARE makes his anticipated return from an 8 month hiatus with his newest single “ill see you in the end.” The 18 year old artist hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico with determination to put his city on the map. His music career began in the summer of 2019, with the release of his debut single “LOVEANDHATE” on SoundCloud. YKARE has truly come a long way since then, with songs “ONE FOR ME” and “ill see you in the end” holding this true. YKARE traced some of his biggest musical inspirations back to the likes of artists Juice WRLD, The Kid LAROI, Joji and XXXTENTACION.
YKARE’s “ill see you in the end” released to all platforms on August 6th. We caught up with him recently and here’s what he had to say about the new release. “ill see you in the end” is a song based on the idea that my life is laid out like a story with different times in my life being chapters. Certain people in my life get their own chapters, some favored over others, nonetheless they always end eventually. I find myself rereading those chapters, knowing that I cannot change the past but I hope for a different ending every time. “ill see you in the end” is written on the hope that I’ll see the people whose chapters ended, in the end.” The heartfelt track focuses on the realization of dead love that we all know way too well.
