LIFCHUNK returns with his brand new EP “Garden Of Love”. The 18 year old artist is based in Los Angeles, California. His musical journey started when he was 13, around the SoundCloud era. Him and his cousin both wanted to start rapping and he had the equipment to do so. They both made it work and from that they started a group called LIF BOY$ and now we know it as LIFCHUNK. Some of LIFCHUNK’s biggest inspirations include the likes of XXXTENTACION, Tyler, The Creator, $not, Sad Frosty, Ken Car$on, Autumn!, and Riven. Some of his recent work includes his first ever music video for his song “RICK” which has become a fan favorite from his new project.
LIFCHUNK’s “Garden Of Love” released to all platforms on February 13th. The project spans across 8 total tracks. “Garden Of Love” is the story of LIFCHUNK’s attack on love and real issues that he has gone through in his life. The project is very experimental and he really got out of his comfort zone by using many different sub genres of rap such as PluggnB, rage, and more of a melodic feel. Two artists feature on this whole project. Those both being good friends of his that make music as well. First is Y6mi, they’ve been making music together for 3 years and he’s featured on “Trippin”, “over”, and “goin” on the project. The other person who features on this project is benjaboii, someone LIFCHUNK has also been making music with for years, and someone who is also very underrated in this scene as well. benjaboii is on the song “help”. As for LIFCHUNK and his goals, he hopes to get better and better everyday, working to improve his craft and hopes to do music as a job one day.
