Oregon’s Connor North isn’t disappointing with his latest release “Olympic”. The rising 19 year old artist is off to a hot start in 2023 and looking to keep applying pressure all year long. Connor began making music in high school 3 years ago to help himself cope with the passing of his father. He was struggling a lot and found music as an outlet where he also met an amazing engineer – the guy who discovered and engineered for Yeat. Connor was in good hands, and now in addition to making music for himself, he helps other people follow their dreams as well. Some of Connor North’s biggest musical inspirations are Pharell, Michael Jackson, and Earth, Wind, and Fire. Recently, he’s been listening to a lot of disco and funk music, and Connor’s music in the future is definitely going to be a bit more dance-y, which he’s very excited to showcase. His recent release was in February 2022 titled “Back to the Future” and it features some vocals from the movie, as well as a bouncy electro beat.
Connor North’s latest single “Olympic” released to all platforms on January 13th. With this release he went a different route than typical. He wanted to create a song that embodied what it felt like to win a gold medal, and this track surely captures that heroic energy with its upbeat vibe and positive energy. Overall as an artist Connor’s goal is to put out 11 singles and a tape in 2023, so there’s going to be plenty more music to look forward to from him this year.
