At 27, Javon773 is proving he’s one of the most authentic upcoming voices in the underground. Originally from Chicago and now based in Atlanta, he returns with his powerful new single “Seems Like” featuring Deric — a track filled with raw emotion, honest storytelling, and undeniable chemistry between the two artists.

Javon’s love for music started early. He began rapping at just 8 years old on his grandma’s porch in Chicago, and everything shifted around 2016 when he started working with producer Monte Booker. Buying beats from Monte and watching Smino create in the studio pushed him to take rap seriously, turning a childhood passion into a real career path.

He credits Philly rapper Kur as a major influence, saying Kur’s music “saved his life.” He’s also inspired by Jace, with whom he has several unreleased songs that fans can expect soon.

“Seems Like” is Javon’s first release since the recent passing of his father, giving the song a heavier emotional edge. Even through the pain, he’s staying focused and gearing up for more drops — including an upcoming single with Jace.

Javon chose Deric for this feature because of his talent and versatility, having worked with PNB Rock and released multiple tracks with Jace. Producer RichHuncho played a key role in bringing the collab together, knowing both artists would elevate each other and help Javon make a deeper mark in the underground scene. More than anything, Javon wants listeners to feel his music — not just hear it. That intention shows clearly in this release.

He’s also preparing for his next major step: a new project titled “Maybe, I’m the Problem”, dropping in 2026, featuring Jace, Deric, Rockie Fresh, and Lackvil. It’s shaping up to be his strongest body of work yet.
