Syracuse, New York native Angvl returns with his latest single “Cherry Pie”. Only having begun making music this year, hearing the 20 year olds previous works you’d assume he’d have years of experience under his belt. Although new to creating his own music, Angvl’s musical interest has always been deeply evident. He took up playing instruments at the age of 6, starting with the drums and working his way up. Some of Angvl’s biggest influences include the likes of the late Mac Miller and the late Nipsey Hussle. One of Angvl’s notable previous works is his debut project “Broken Heart Freestyles” which released in early June.
With determination to continue his hot streak, Angvl released his latest single “Cherry Pie” to all platforms on August 31st. We caught up with him recently and here’s what he had to say about the inspiration behind the track. “This track is based on the idea that I was super infatuated with the person I was talking to at the time, so this is me putting them on that pedestal.” The relaxing guitar carried instrumental is expertly complemented by Angvl’s smooth delivery. The wavy love vibe is sure to send the listener floating on Cloud 9 reminiscing a current or past lover. Angvl’s overall goals are to put something into the world that not only himself, but others can enjoy. Check out his new single with the link below.
